I’d vote for the regular posters on both the depression and Messymascot threads.

The former offer a warm welcome to those at a low ebb and go out of their way to give both practical advice and emotional support.

The latter thread just feels like the local coffee shop/bar where friends hang out and catch up on the day to day stuff of life (both big and small) but who are always happy to greet someone else who wanders in too.

Whenever I feel a little down about humanity in general I’ll look at those threads and realize the good outweigh the bad.
