Player Valuation: £35m
I would just like to say that I have not been excited watching Walcott Siggy Bernard and Richarlson for a long time, yesterday every time they went forward you knew a chance was going to be created, the passing movement and pace, great to watch.

I know it’s early days and still some time to gel properly, but it is miles away from what we seen last year.

Swap Walcott with Lookman and see what he can do. Walcott has one good game every five. Nowhere near consistently enough.

Rubbish. Even when not at the top of his game Walcott offers more than the nervous head down dashing of Lookman. Walcott is a proper footballer and when fit, should play. He understands how we are playing, can interchange easily with our other striking players, and is good for a few goals. Lookman has potential, but needs a change of attitude and more knowledge of the game at this point.

Agreed, but it's good to have options. Lookman showed enough on Tuesday evening to keep the wingers on their toes as sooner or later he's going to get a chance and he'll be called upon to be a game changer

Will be interesting to see if Bernard has a goal threat too. If we can get good numbers across the four in terms of goals and assists then it should be a decent league season.

Absolute nonsense. Walcott was making runs no one else in our team was capable of seeing or picking out when he joined us last year. He finally has players around him that will play to his strengths and I expect him to be a key player for us this season.

He’s average. Has the odd good game which papers over the cracks. We need better if we’re to progress further.
