Lower than Henderson? He must have had a mare............but no, he made one mistake all game.

The London-based media has its own agenda and one is to push the case for the London-based players. After all they all mix socially and move in the same circles. It's why Cahill is always 'steady' when he's had a nightmare, and 'excellent' when he hasn't. It's why Gibbs last night apparently had a very good game, when from what I saw he was OK but for losing the ball whenever he tried to create something a la Baines. And it's why, Chambers is now the biggest future CB prospect and Welbeck now the best English striker by a street.......

'Twas ever thus lads. Sad but true. Once the southern press has got a favourite other than you it will be an uphill battle to keep your place. Hopefully jags and Baines have got thick skins, enjoy it while it lasts and eventually come to realise that being loved by us is better than being part of that set up.

Along with a few other players ( Hart, Henderson and Lallana ), they gave him a 6, with the following text

"A comfortable night for the Everton man, Slovenia posed little threat despite scoring first. "

It was an international match, if people really feel the need to fume about it, it belongs in world footie ... which is where it is now.
