Didn't know the Elm was being demolished till I saw it on FB. Often called in on matchdays. It won't be the last pub to go I'm afraid.

Was speaking to the boss of that place prior to lockdown and he told us then that either him or the brewery were looking to get rid due to the imminent move to Brantley Moore, I believe they are building accommodation on there for Albanian car wash employees

Me and our marks local ,our mark lives on Westminster road and I’m pretty gutted to see this pub go,brilliant for parking and a great pub to go before the match! I guess all the regs will be piling into the Leigh now
