I fear that those mongs from across the park will soon start turning it on, I really do.

They're rumoured to have placed a formal bid for Sturridge on a season-long deal, and Dempsey has just turned down Villa - clearly he has his sights firmly set on them instead.

I have a horrible feeling that they're bringing in some decent talent (Sahin etc), and Rogers seems to know his onions. I'd love them to fall flat on their face just like the rest of us would, but we know it never happens like that where they're concerned.

Oh well, at least we're seeming to do decent business so I guess we should just concentrate on ourselves.

I feel like I'd not be fulfilling my remit as a FBP if I didn't point out that Costa Rica is North American.

Geographically there's only two continents, north and south, with anything north of colombia being north. Politically the US like to differ themselves from their poorer, darker skinned neighborus by using the term central america to describe mexico and below (but not the caraibean islands) and latin america to mean anywhere which isn't us and canada.

But in terms of continents it's all the same and they all play in the same world cup qualifying group which is the real test.
