'The Distin/Jagielka problem'

I'll just agree to disagree then (y) , I think he's looked out of his depth in midfield and that's where most of his rash tackles have been made as he's not aware of what goes on around him and lunches in. You could see both Jags and Heitinga being pulled out of position quite a few times yesterday, but I put that down to Wolves playing Doyle on his own so they were able to track him mostly anywhere and think they still did a good job of containing him as he didn't get a clean chance the entire game. I prefer him at the back, and hopefully given a good run of games he can shake off some rust and erase some of the easier mistakes out of his game. Distin's been a rock though so he's not the one who should be dropped imho.

And as for Neville, the games where he does play in def mid are to me the completely wrong ones, he's very good at tracking back and covering for our fullbacks so he should play when we push on with Baines and whoever plays rightback (esp if we ever get Coleman there) as he can drop in at either side. Having him in there against sides like Chelsea, City and the derby seems kind of wasted as we need to maintain possession and we are not pushing forward as much which leaves us with 8 men on our own half, half of which can't really pass the ball.

Oh no mate, I meant that I like to see him play, but if he's not played in his natural position he should be at least before Nev in the pecking order. Didn't really have an argument against that. Bang on the rest, like! Except that Nev is starting to get really woeful and shouldn't play at all, or a minor(est) roll...

I thought they both struggled in the air yesterday. Doyle's not the tallest striker in the League but he's agressive, uses his body well and has a good leap. He got the better of Jagielka and Distin last season aswell.

Duality- Ah, cheers then!

Also, him and Fletcher have done me in every single game but the last in Fifa.. Finally decided to change things up with a 4-1-3-2 and beat them quite comfortably! ;) You know the way, Moyes!

I thought Heitenga played pretty well on Saturday, actually. He isn't good in the air, but you could say that about every one of his matches. He read the play well and sniffed out a few attacks.

Still, Distin is better.
