The disconnect between the club and the fans .

But we have the world's greatest living Evertonian to thank....
The club have exploited the relief felt after the games against Coventry and Wimbledon and lowered expectations since. Granted there are occassional carrots dangled like KD, DK and BMD, but all in all the ambition hasn't been there, in the club, to actually 'do something and compete'.

There was a kid with his dad beside me at the game yesterday. Maybe 8 or 9.
Asked his dad how could we be losing to Norwich and on 70 mins asked could he go home. You could see he was upset and did not enjoy a moment of it .
The club needs to get its identity back .
Winning trophies would be great.
But giving supporters something to look forward to at the weekend, something to get excited about during the game and something to talk about positively after the game.
perfectly put, Identity.

What is our identity? Martinez changed the style 3 times in 3 years, Koeman had us playing one way and walsh signed players who played much slower. Silva has us changing now weekly with one tactic failing and the other shunned despite the more positive results. Even then we don't have a way of playing, we just do.

We havent had an identity since moyes, and that was a plucky underdog style that won us exactly what it would generate.
