The book "The Damned Utd" smashes the film....and the film is top notch.

Roy Keanes autobiography is enlightening too.
 
Very different isn't it mate?

Thing is, it shows there was still drama back then too. Just like today.

It's great, the story of Cloughy is probably one of my favourites


And Everton were boss around then too. How he was never England manager is one of life's big mysteries
 

love the bit on first day training Leeds where he volleys the ball into the back of the net "that's how ya do it" !!!

I remember that horrible, snidey Leeds team, they could play but horrible ********s of the highest order. Plus I was severly beaten up at Elland Rd in 73 so I would still like them to end up in Conf North or worse.

Love both the book and the film, book just shades it though, one of the rare books that i have re read several times and usually I only do that for wrestling autobiographies
