The curious case of Victor Anichebe

I'd celebrate, wouldn't you? To be honest, i can see his attitude towards coming on and scoring all the time, it's like " another one, and i still won't get a starting place''.

Somewhat. I wouldn't be running to the crowd waving my arms, but I would be happy we'd scored, not so much that I'd scored, but should be chuffed for the team, just as the rest of the team were. So, yeah, disappointing to see him not happy about that.

Poor if that's what's going through his head, it's all he deserves for the past 3 yrs we've had to put up with, even if he is popping the odd couple in now.

Picked a fine time to start scoring regularly, hasn't he? We've been crying out for a goalscoring forward for years now (years during which he has been with us), and he starts scoring right around the time we sign a proven goal-scorer for £5m.

Dunno if that's just coincidence, inevitible given his age and stage of developement, or maybe even that he can smell the exit door approaching for one or two of our under-used strike force and has finally removed thumb from arse and found some form.

I'd be happy to have the lad around the place if he can keep his form up, as I think he's a useful player to have around, but to be fair if he thinks he is in any kind of position to act the prima donna he's having a laugh. Not exactly a key player yet lad, eh?
