What Z list celebrity has your local region got switching on the lights, bit disappointed with the offering from my Council ( See below ). I demand some jarg tit from big brother to do it. Just a few miles down the road into Middlesbrough, they have Fiz and Tyrone from Corrie switching the lights on. That the barometer of crap you have to beat, who ever has the worst offering wins a prize.

The launch of Stockton Sparkles this year won’t be your usual Christmas lights switch on. Hosted by BBC Tees, this festive evening will feature a choir of over 1,500 children, a brass band, and Joe Hamill, lead singer from Cattle & Cane, who will bring the Christmas spirit to life with an enchanting and memorable community performance.

The event will also include a small children’s fairground, late night shopping, the annual Sparkles Christmas market and of course Santa.

Our council's are disgraceful, I'm going to send mine a letter saying even at this last minute I'm sure the likes of John McCirrick could be available for a small fee. He will desperate for the cash now.
