That's a given.:) What really ground my gears is when eventually a bus came it was a single decker, with about 100 people waiting at just this bus stop, never mind the next two. Didn't Arriva not factor in that there's a train strike ? Obviously not, the numpties.

It is the norm though at this time of year to ensure maximum Christmas fume.

You could have all sang carols together and the time would have flown past :D

Copious amounts of alcohol, seasonal food, and crap tele, makes ya proud to be British.
 

Much prefer Town Green and Croston tbh

Don't really know about Town Green , but Croston's lovely. The Grapes and the WheatSheaf are both decent grub pubs.
Still a danger of getting flooded though, the jury's out on whether or not the new flood defenses will totally do the job.
