The Casablanca derby

Yes mate. I was in the section next to that, in the roofed stand.

I'm now in Marrakech, and the lad working at the riad I'm staying in (which, incidentally, is part-owned by a top blue who I met at Norwich last weekend) said I was daft for risking going to that one. He just showed me footage of 5 onto 1 poor sod, armed with swords. They were making a right mess of him and you can hear him screaming in agony. Not nice at all. The lad here said the 5 were all nicked, but that hardly makes up for what they were doing to him.
I think you are winning the internet here.

As previously said.. Stay safe mate.

Thats totally mental.

What other crazy matches have you been to and what were the locals like with you here and at other games?

My first overseas game was Hamburger SV against Werder Bremen. I was on a school exchange trip and the guy took me to the game with his mates...

I was pretty worried as his mates all had swasticas on their cut off denim jackets and were a massive bunch of lads....but got into the stadium and the crowd heard i was english and started off their old Keegan songs...

Nothing of course compared to this....

Watched some other games in Asia like FC Tokyo but wow this stuff is the opposite!

Short film covering that match last month. Just sat watching it with the volume cranked right up and it still made my hairs stand on the back of my neck. Utterly mind-blowing match, and easily the maddest one I've been to yet.

It starts getting tasty about 13 mins or so in, but the whole film is worth a watch. I met the German lads who made it, in Marrakech at a game on Xmas day. Really good lads.
