Even Mervyn King governer of the bank of england has said the once in a lifetime(hopefully) recession was due in a large part to the banks and their bad practices i would assume that Chappy knows more than i do for certain (given his wages i would bloody hope so).

But i digress you blunder into the discussion blaming Labour for all the world's ill's and ignore the fact Osbournes budget offered very little to to anyone,no growth,no jobs,no hope we're in this together though.

I'm going to say this Major's version of the Tory party wasnt that bad,sure he had the silly cone hotline and nonsense like that but i believe Major did genuinely hope to help the less well off and try and make the country a better place he failed becuase he had a divided party.

Thatcher was Thatcher i disagreed with almost every policy she came up with but she was intellegent and had worked out in the real world bloody shame she became so detached from it.

But this lot jesus a government so devoid of any sort of talent who's only mantra is cut,cut and sod everything else is a dangerous one as well more and more poeple it seems to me are beginning to see through them the libdems are all but done for unless Clegg is deposed the tories though are looking like a one term government becuase i just dont see the Europe lifting itself out of the mire.

As for the budget itself well it's all been a bit silly hasn't it? 1p of petrol when it went up by 4 or 5 p becuase of VAT didnt make any difference at all
