Talked about this the other day amongst my mates, some for some against some not caring enough for a debate.

What's everyone else's opinion on the British Monarchy?

Being as its the only piece of national identity we have left i'm very pro royal these days and how can you complain when the new generation has gone to the front line fighting a war. They are still extremely popular around the world and do bring in revenue regardless of what some might say.

Meh why not? National identity and the queen does A LOT of good around the world, charities and what not. I don't see them doing any harm.

Of course you'll get sour grapes on here who just want to hate everything.

Everyone should take turns being the royal family for a week while those gits we currently have go live on a council estate for 51 weeks a year.
