A nice video, but a pretty simplistic view of the situation.
There are plenty of people in areas, particularly in the North, where people really can't get jobs despite trying their best.

People who generalise issues like this tend to have little depth or understanding of the cause of the situation, evidenced by the responses below the video.
To stop the effects of immigration/emigration and the connected issues of benefits, work ethics etc then you basically have to undermine laissez faire capitalism, to that system every person regardless of origin and ethnicity, is just a consumer, but it then takes it to the extreme, the production element of your purpose means you are expendable because there are plenty of producers.
The consumer element only matters if you have an excess to spend to perpetuate the system.
Finger pointing like this energises the situation.

As always, the real problem is somewhere in the middle. There are not floods of immigrants as the Daily Mail would have us believe, or an army of scroungers, but there are enough abuses of the system to give that impression.
The bigger scandle, if thats the right word, is the criminal waste of tax payers money on nearly every thing/project/investment the government, of any colour, do. Same with the BBC. And the NHS. Bonkers if you knew what went on.

...lots of youngsters have worked really hard to gain academic qualifications and have been let down because of the lack of jobs. I'm sure they'd prefer to be working than on the dole. Feel dreadfully sorry for youngsters recently leaving school, Uni etc.

Im not opposed to immigration in the slightest but this type of thinking is incredibly dangerous. You don't start businesses with no money for a start.
Secondly, As ive pointed out before, if the British are all lazy benefit scroungers and the Eastern Europeans are all hard working enterprising folk then England wouldnt be roughly a 9824 times better place to live than Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria etc.

Not watched the vid, but agree we are idle. If we weren't every media mogul, finance leader, Tory poliitcian etc would be slumped against walls amongst empty cartridge cases.

Tbh some people just have no ambition and are quite happy to do nothing and 'earn' enough to get by. With that mindset, can you blame them? They'll earn more sitting on their arses than they would in a lowly paid job. The minimum wage needs looking at and our benefit system needs a complete shake up to weed out the scroungers from people in genuine need.
