It will just mean teams will have to get more work permits etc for most foreign players. Might improve the England team and youth because people may start looking to see whats available domestically, rather than just shopping abroad.

I think it will be good, there's a lot of sub-standard foreign imports playing in England keeping out home grown talent, getting rid of these isn't a bad thing. All the top quality players have nothing too worry about really.

If the Uk leave Europe it will be a rise in the cost of everything imported ,just as when we joined everything went up -and when we went metric everything cost more because it was "rounded up" .The only certain thing is it will cost more .Having said that as I live in Finland it won't bother me much
A reversion to the old style where the club had mainly local players would not be such a bad thing for competition but the standard would drop and the fat cats would all leave ,and all the doubters on here would get their dream wish -Bill at the helm ,that will do me !

Brexit would be great! When employee rights revert to Dickensian times like the remainers keep insisting, we can kidnap promising foreign stars and force them to play for peanuts! Literal peanuts. They can earn the club extra revenue by sweeping chimneys between games.

If sub standard foreign imports are keeping out local talent then I think that says a lot about local TALENT!

As an outsider I personally think that the UK would be mad to exit the EU. Then again it might be fun to watch.
From a football point of view I think that the long term implications for PL and Everton would be big although some fans might be happy about that. Firstly, my guess is that in the short term, both on and off the field, little would change. You'd imagine that there would have to be a reasonable transition period as you cannot just flick the switch. So couldn't see us having to get rid of current players. In the longer term you would imagine that it will restrict the ability of overseas players to come and play in PL (eg via Europe). The EU will have to restrict the UK somehow otherwise other countries will think that they can leave while having the benefits. If the quality of the PL drops then TV revenue will drop and the overall pie will shrink. Maybe China will snap up the top players and EPL quality will drop. Some people might be happy to go back to the old days but there would definitely be less dosh around. We might want wait for the result before taking out a loan for a new stadium or new players.

Its often youngsters ho cant break through and gain experience, not because they're rubbish.
Plenty of people would agree but I don't buy it. They can still develop in The Championship (effectively the top local league) and if they are good enough play against some of the world's best in the EPL. My opinion is that the EPL should be improving English players. The real issue is the development of young players in England in the first place.

This is a non-issue. If the UK leaves the EU it could adapt its own rules governing work permits for eu players. There are already lots of exemptions and special provisions in the work permit legislation for certain occupations.
