Anyone following the State Championships? San-Sao Derby was alright the other day, but the format just doesn't feel slimmed down enough and I feel like I'm constantly seeing everyone moan about the State Championships, but I think that the concept is actually very good, the idea that you play your local teams before playing in a National tournament.

Any Brazilian Football Fans?

very loosely follow Fluminense. root for them because, well, visited Rio for a week, wanted to catch a match at the Maracana, and they were the home side.

oh, and to laugh at Corinthians after the Paraguayan side I root for knocked them out of the Copa Libertadores a year ago. little david vs a big GOLIATH of SA futbol. so humbling that for their next derby a fan of the opposing side had a drone fly over the Corinthian supporters.
