Can we bring the thread about transfer thread rumours back home, back to the front page where it belongs? it's been exiled long enough, never voted for mussolini, and promises not to use the A word.

I'd appreciate if people would gather all the pros and cons and write them up, atleast on some general level. Usually these threads seem to repeat the same stuff over and over again and since no one reads long whole threads it's repetition after repetition with variable quality.

Thank you. Which is exactly why we should have a dedicated thread for board stuff. If we don't then it strangles the life out of most other threads as that's what they invariably end up bogged down with other wise.

I'd say "report Board related slander requesting to be moved" using the report function, but that would probably bring down the forum or something.

I think the mods and admin should discuss this, as when we lose our first 5 games of the season, peoples combined fuming will cause our monitors and phones to spontaneously combust.

I'd say "report Board related slander requesting to be moved" using the report function, but that would probably bring down the forum or something.

Yeah fair point. It's probably best that the mods discuss it first and see what you decide rather than me coming out with it.

I reckon it's a good idea but I'm usually seriously flawed when I have my wee bright sparks of inspiration. If it does go ahead then delete this thread and set up a new one for everything to be moved in there, with a stickied post at the top defining the parameters for what goes in there and when stuff will be moved over etc.

I think having one thread to absorb the majority of KENWROOOONG posts is the lesser of the two evils, really.

I don't think moving posts from one thread to another is a good idea (it would be very confusing), but if a thread is being derailed then the moderators can say "Hey lids. Move it in here ffs."

If it's done consistently then people will soon get the idea mate. The ones that fume over it are likely to be angry types who infect forums all over and as such will soon be baited until banning occurs.

I don't agree in that respect. If you're replying to someone then their post disappears it's confusing. Plus that's a lot more work for the moderators.

Honestly I think the last Kenwrong thread actually worked okay. Outside of the thread I mean. Inside it was chaos, but it helped keep the rest of the forum that bit cleaner. So I'm all for having a mental asylum for those who insist on talking about Kenwrong 24/7, but moving individual posts is too problematic. Merging smaller threads into the big bad board thread is another thing though. That's a good idea.
