50-64. Since entering that zone, my folks have just gone to a new level of annoying.

Either divorce or just STFU and live with each other.

But since turning 30 I myself have morphed almost overnight from excitable youth to middle-aged misery.

Everton being shabite has not helped.

My mate used to work with what we would call a centrist nowadays who always talked about back in his day ... the little twerp was 19.
As I said, unironically and seriously - I have a colleague(even colleagues sadly) who go by the "back in the day" logic that everything is bad and wrong now because now we don't get conscripted for 2.5 years like he did and we get to actually live our life earlier... Bitter forever now.

Another lad is in his 40s and thinks similarly despite skipping out on the shorter type conscription (6 months) through shady connections and being "ill" just as it was getting removed anyway lol

Same people usually believe in wild conspiracies and are very pro-Russia for some reason, definitely unrelated though. Definitely.

Oh yeah also by the same people - "me dad told me there was no crime too!"... We've had several anniversaries this year, one was on Christmas day, on utter psychopaths killing 5-15 people on a spree for literally no reason, but the communist state controlled the media so they suppressed all bad information, naturally. lol

Absolutely mental.

Our loveable rogue neighbours have for years always called us bitters but I've always laughed it off and said I only hate LFC.

But, these last few weeks have shown a true bitterness in how we treat former players/legends of the club in what people have typed with regards to Greame Sharp and David Unsworth for example.

A darkness has consumed the fanbase and hate is all that seems to be spewed on a daily basis to young upcoming players like Patterson and Gordon.

When I first had a season ticket we were absolutely dirge but we had a laugh at the game and that season we had an attendence of 13k for Kendall's last game ( 2nd time ) on a Sat 3pm kickoff against Southampton. The last game that season was the famous Wimbledon game when the supporters came back to rally around the players and club.

Now we have fans turning on fans for wanting to protest or for wanting to have a change in manager due to poor results. Even the manager was recently blaming fans for putting additional pressure on the players.

The bitterness these past few years has even spread to our younger generation of fans hating the likes of Newcastle Football Club and its fans plus the majority of former players and managers from our club.

Anyway, which age group are the worst Everton bitters?

I think football is very much like religion.

And when you mix expectation with a struggle to find self worth, it only leads to the inevitable guarantee of disappointment.

Yet we come back for it week in week out for lots of reasons.

One thing I struggle with is the expectation. When you love something so much and it just doesn’t care, it’s heartbreaking, so it’s tears or tear ups on toast!
