i'd say his miss against us was more due to an excellent play by tim howard than a poor pk, and i believe he scored on that same day.

i thought Arteta was much better today, a couple set plays fell short but most of the time he was consistently finding open men.

i'd also like to point out that he's been helping the team even without touching the ball. For our last goal, arteta ran an overlap down the wing when pienaar had the ball, and because of teta's reputation defenders slid over to him, which allowed yak to break completely open in the middle.

its wise to use him to intimidate defenders, even if he isn't the one who's actually scoring the goal, and thats great presence of mind on pienaar's part.

It's good to see Arteta back to form, although I'd love to see him do this against better teams than Fulham.
