The best era in sport ?

Just watched Ronnie O’Sullivan win another tournament and regain the world number 1 spot at the age of 43/44... got me thinking. I was born mid 70’s so really got interested in watching most sports mid 80’s through to today. I’m luck in that time to have witnessed
Ronnie, Tiger woods, federer, Messi, Bolt all transcend their sport and become icons. Has there been a better era in sport ever ?

In terms of boxing, growing up in the 80s must have been great. A sport at its peak. Hagler, Leonard, Duran, Hearns etc. Tyson, youngest heavyweight champion..
