you're confusing different with better, fwiw, I'm a Beatles man but the tunes from both on my ipod more or less reflect the ratios in the poll (- minus the cheese option obvs)

I've never been in a Stones mood where I'd listen to their entire discography start to finish. Just because I have them, The Eagles, The Every Brothers and Simon and Garfunkel on my playlist doesn't mean they're all the same.

The Beatles were and are unsurpassed. Doesn't make The Stones crap, just nowhere near as good or as important a contributor as The Beatles. Or as likely to put me in a boss mood for the rest of the day when I'm playing them making by breakfast on a Sunday morning (yes, even the sad songs like "For No One")
