Wouldn't touch that muck mate, but am glad for you everyone else does.

Also the only people who moan about bank holidays are someone who has to work them, and especially someone who doesn't get paid double for having to do so, or the self employed who can't work.

Quit grumbling lad, you're a teacher, so only work 39 weeks a year anyway.

I bloody hate them.

Means I dont work so dont get paid.

Then means the 2 or 3 days after them, I am stupidly busy cos the internet doesnt close for bank holidays.

This long one means 4 internet shopping days delivered in 2 real days.

With a knackered knee. Sake.

I'm self-employed & I can work, in fact I can also charge what the hell I like with being a bank holiday.

They are a national holiday dedicated to the banks getting a day off. As Tory as having a picture of Thatcher in your living room or fox hunting that is. I bet Bank Holidays are big in the fox hunting calendar.

I also sadly won't be using them to learn English as unfortunately I have to work them.
