just bring back the masters so I can be surprised at how good of a 6 aside player craig short is
Sell out due to them being one offs. Would that happen if it were weekly?Their 11 a side charity matches sell out stadiums, 30-40k.
Sad thing is vast majority of the people there wouldn't actually got to a local ground to financial support them.
Glad to do so.Coz you aint ballers. Move aside Grandad.

It raises an interesting question.Yeah, but you'd hope the knock on effect would be they love the game to go watch a local team.
Could be generalising but the impression I get is that those lads could be playing conkers and still selling out a stadium cos it's not about the sport.
It raises an interesting question.
We all consume football, but we all only consume one type of football. Yet i'd say 70% of people who enjoy football are more likely to play 5 a side than 11 a side.
So why hasn't it been approached and marketed like these guys are trying to do before?
I like the idea of it, i like the idea of the draft, that the players have had to be to some sort of trials and auditions to get in, rather than how many follows they have on myspace. With football being so money orientated now, would it not be good to bring some purity to it, would you follow a side in the league if it had a local approach to it? games at the M & S arena etc, local lads who have slipped through the system
I don't like the idea's of the ex pro's being coaches and i cant stand the majority of these sidemen guys, but its pretty clear they know what they are doing and what people like to consume.
I can see the kidz lapping it up.
