The rain, it raineth every day
Thought I'd start a specific thread for the series. The first Test starts on 8/12 and has been overshadowed by events both here and in Australia. It'll be interesting to see if two comparatively weak teams can dish up the goods.

England's first tour match started today against the Lions, and of course there was rain. Hameed off to a good start, 53 n.o.

Got tickets for day 4 / Saturday at The Gabba.
I know it's a drop in pitch...they keep it out the back...but the weather has been mixed, wet then dry, then wet etc,
So the pitch could do anything, especially if it turns humid, the toss, as always, can be crucial.
Both teams seem brittle and it might be a race to see who can collapse first-est the quickest.
The Aussie bowlers are sicknotes in waiting, not the glowering moustachioed monsters they used to be

Starc Cummins and Hazelwood will be more than enough to see us off. We only have 2 batsmen and one of those hasn't played for 12 months.

Don't get me started on our bowlers. They will get carted around the park.

Like I said - a race to see who can collapse first, I hope my 4th day tickets aren't worthless
