It is a Christmas film, but not as much as Gremlins or Batman Returns.

Gremlins 100%, got one kid that's a bit of a fanny, not sure he's ready for Gremlins. Wife says it's fine but to me it plays like a horror movie.

I love how the young Macauley Culkin outwits the two terrorist intruders and protects the large skyscraper with ensuing high-jinx, cleverness, and violence. Die Alone is most definitely a christmas film.

Got two daughters, showed them Gremlins when they were 11, 10 years old.

Mrs BoTo wasn't impressed. It has some pretty scary, violent bits.

Best Christmas movie of all time though, no matter what their therapist says.
