Defeated ROBOCOP in the Quarters. 44 (89.8%) to 5 (10.2%) (49 total).
Die Hard has blown away all comers, gaining more than 9 votes for every 1 the opposition gets.
And that's largely due to the sheer amount of memorable scenes that you can remember verbatim after watching it just once! For example, the one were McClane and Gruber meet - that scene, incidentally, was included late after it was found on set that Alan Rickman could do a surprisingly passable American accent!
But despite the dominance thus far, Die Hard now comes up against a real challenge from Arnie...
TERMINATOR 2: JUDGEMENT DAY (1991)
Defeated FIRST BLOOD in Round One. 26 (51%) to 25 (49%) (51 total).
Defeated THE DARK KNIGHT in the Quarters. 30 (51.7%) to 28 (48.3%) (58 total).
In stark contrast to the route Die Hard took to reach this stage, T2 has won by 1 vote and 2 votes respectively in both rounds to narrowly edge into the Semi's.
A little known fact - the kid in the playground during the Sarah Connor dream sequence is actually her kid!
Another little known fact - do you know when the T-1000 imitates Sarah Connor in the factory? That's not some sort of visual hocus pocus - it's actually her real life twin sister!
