Times i have taken revenge by hurting someone who has hurt me in the past, always left me with a deep regret over it mate, the times i acted like a man and accepted what happened and moved on and i suppose rose above it, their the times i look back on with pride

That assumes your prognosis that most folk are in built dishonest and opportunist is correct. Not sure it is.

I believe most people will not put themselves at risk first and foremost. If that means others may fall by the wayside as a result then so be it.

You carry on living in the world that goes on inside your head. It doesn't exist in the real world. Millions are exploited daily in order to satisfy the requirements of business.

By concentrating your argument on the acquiescence of a few like minded individuals who at the time you engage with them are benefitting as much as you are, you miss the overall picture.

Not really, I can't change the world, I do take personal responsibility for my own behaviour though. I will not compromise my values just because 'others' do. Also business's are run by people, millions are not exploited to satisfy the needs of 'business' but to satisfy the needs of the people who run them or have invested in them (including most pension funds). There are good businesses as well as bad.

Not gonna argue mate, but theirs different ways to handle things, each to their own way of dealing with things that happen.

Not taking revenge doesn't make you a walkover or a mug though mate, only someone naive would think so

Oh, we destroy people long before they even think of committing the act we're getting revenge on them for. It's a far more effective and classy measure of retaliation.
