What is love?
How will you be commemorating this very important date?

I personally will be donating to the 'Stop the War Coalition', in the hope that there'll be no need to celebrate the end of any more wars, although as war is a rich old man's game played out by the young poor, there's precisely no chance of that happening :(

Good afternoon arch how are you doing today I am watching auf wiedersenhen pet.
hi mate, I've been tidying the house a bit, the girls have gone off to the stables so I may go into my guitar room for a bit of practice. Sun's just come out though so may sit on the garden.

Not seen AWP for years mate, has it withstood the test of time?

This was a good thing so I'm quite happy to remember it and more than happy to have a day sat at home doing nothing rather than a day sat at home working very hard (which is obviously always the case).

Is it really an obsession though? It’s not a celebration of war...VE Day is a celebration of the end of war.
Is it any different to the USA celebrating 4th July every year?

That's insane as well.

It's called Victory Day; so the celebration is that one side killed more/better people than the other.

People like to pretend UK beat the 'nazis' but it's not like the German people had a choice is it? Join the army or die in the camps.

British people love the war, it's everywhere. It's pathetic.

The end of that war started other wars but I guess they don't matter as not in Europe.
