70’s Memories:

Stood 6’ 6â€￾ in those days in my high heeled clogs, flairs and cheese cloth shirt, lapels seen at all times (some of the worst attire in the whole of the 20th century)

Music: Alot of good music around, hated glam rock

Films: Soldier Blue, Clock Work Orange, The Exorcist, Jaws and The Omen, Saturday night fever

Everton:
Awful season as reining league champions 70/71, the first one I remember in any detail, losing
on away goals to Panathinaikos in the European cup, 2-1 to the RS in the FA Cup S/F and finishing 14th in the league (saw my first game in Sept. 1971 losing 2-1 to Palace)

Then more heartbreak in 1971 at the sale of Alan ball, a real test of faith but I came through it

Mid 70’s better, finishing 4th in 1975.

Married young in 1977, same year we eventually lost to villa in the league cup, tbh I’m not sure what was worse.[/QUOTE]
Haha. We did take Villa to a couple of replays. I don't know how you fared mate
