THE 5 LEGENDS OF MUSIC ?

I hosted a quiz the other night and I had a round where you were given an album name and had to identify the artist/band.
To get a good selection I went through the top 500 albums according to Rolling Stone. Although I didn't make a tally chart I would say that U2 featured the most with about 8/9 albums in the top 500.
Therefore, either you are all wrong since no-one has U2 in their list of 5 or Rolling Stone is a crock of brown stuff.

Rolling Stone is a crock of brown stuff.

And lists such as you mention (no offence to you) are totally subjective by their very nature, and are no way definitive.

U2 are alright, but are they any better than Rush, SRV, van Halen, GnR, etc...?
