The 3PM Kick-Off

all games should be on saturday at 3pm.

Instead we get super sundays where stoke play watford and some former players get all excited about the smallest thing to fill the air space.

edit- typical it was written by a kopite who is only concerned about going out to town after the game.

I'm not against Super Sunday to be honest

It gives me something to watch on a historically slow day

Years ago i used to enjoy it, but these days i just don't bother if we aren't on it.

but away from the tit's write up that (he should be sacked for and blacklisted), football needs to have tradition in the game. there is so much that has gone out of our game in the last 20 years, something small like 3pm kick offs keeps that little bit of the old game alive. that is me just being sentimental though.

I'm sure Stoke and Watford fans would be alright with that.

Or are only the big teams allowed?

I like a 3pm Saturday kick off, but I'm so used to the others now, I'm not that arsed.

I hate the fact that sides fans have to do a long travel on a Monday night though.. Like us playing Saints away for example.

No consideration at all for travelling times etc.

what i mean is they are not exactly super games. Especially when they turn up and just scrap a 1-1. Least in a united chelsea crap game they can wax on about the players on the pitch instead.

For the netural of course, not for the specific fans of the teams shown.

Mate, good job our game wasn't live on telly last night...
It was dire viewing.

Maybe if they dropped the 'super' and called it something more accurate like, '2 live matches on a Sunday afternoon, which may or may not be any good'

Not quite as catchy, I'll admit.

When I was traveling in Asia in 2005, they would show 4 games each weekend, which involved the incumbent top 4 (they showed a non top 4 game if top 4 teams played each other). Was great as an Everton fan as we were on almost every weekend, and I'd say every club get a decent look-in. No worse a concept than any other, and spared us the mid table dross usually served up these days.
