I'm with you mate. yes lets get back to what this city used to be a great maritime port. (and if you know yer "istory")
Southampton have had the monopoly on the cruise ships for a long time. Its about time Cunard came home.
These three great ships together should be spectacular
I remember when I was on Ark Royal and we met up with Illustrious & Invincible, the first time our 3 carriers at the time met for the only time at sea. That was special at the time.
Purple is the colour of this fair city.Purple is the fave colour of gays
Purple is the colour of this fair city.
But you already knew that lid.

Yes mate.
Surely only dredging or changing sea level could put a place back on the maritime map?

Bit of a generalisation don't you think? As a fairly open homosexual man I find that more than a little offensive.
Beg pardon Bungle, did not mean to offend you. Please accept my apologies.
Mods, please close the thread, the replies are embarrassing, clearly no one has any interest in what goes in the City outside of GP.
My old ship. Wot no navy, well done Cameron!

As you wish.
Mods don't do irony.
Glad to see you've made up with Bungle though, we take homophobia very seriously on here.
Out of interest has anyone made plans to see these ships at the Pierhead in May.
