Platoon has 'Adagio for strings' which in classical terms, is really rather fine.
There must be something in 'Good morning Vietnam'.
Was the 'delinquents' out in the 80's? - anything from INXS or similar in that lot?

plenty of good songs on Full Metal Jacket though (1987)

such as ...boppa boppa bird, bird is the word. Paint It Black. Woolly Bully......and many many more
