On an airplane coming back from Gran Canaria. She was with her mate and I was with mine. It was back in the day when the last eight rows of the plane were for smokers. She smoked but we didn’t but the queue at the airport for the smoking check in was non existent so me and my mate being lazy feckers went straight to that one. Spent the whole journey just drinking and having a laugh then found out we lived about a mile or so apart so headed back to her local for a few more. Swapped numbers at the end of the night and the rest is as they say history. Over 25 years together, married for 18 and two fantastic (well most of the time) kids.
