They will find a way around it like the record breaking sponsorship deal they announced with Etihad (I wonder whether there might have been any connections there? ). UEFA are a bunch of pussies and will fold under pressure.

Remarkable to me that anyone still thinks "fair play" will amount to anything. Years ago when it came out if you actually read the rules (and specifically noticed what they did NOT include) it was clear it had no teeth and nothing they'd done since has suggested they are serious. Waste of time. Tantamount to pure PR which (depressingly) some people continue to think is a real thing. Love to be wrong. UEFA and FIFA (a World Cup in a desert with no stadiums!) ... they follow the current of the money; they don't fight against the flow. We can't create rules to stop bankers and the rich from destroying our actual countries so what hope do we have of stopping them destroying a game?
