Used to come through my old McDs all the time when he was at Southampton.

The funniest thing I have seen is a couple of summers ago when he posted a picture on IG with a giraffe at the zoo captioned "Holidays with the family"

People that don't take themselves to seriously are generally good people, and when they are a celeb, it's a breath of fresh air.

Liked Crouch ever since he came out with that one. There's a good tale about him involving a flash car, Roy Keane shaking his head and the sudden realisation and regret that he had turned into a bit of a flash bell.



A more than decent strike rate at times as well. Remember that volley he put past Joe Hart, good feet for a big man etc, etc. But for his height he was a surprisingly poor header of the ball technique wise, bit of a 50p head.

Scored more headers than anyone in premier league history.

Crouch is a good bloke. He played for that lot but he's one of the few it seems who didn't get sucked into their weird cult mentality.

Underrated player I think, at his peak he was a nightmare to play against but people only ever seem to talk about him as if he were crap. He wasn't, solid goalscorer for most clubs he's played for.

Won loads due to his height and his teams playing to that and I'm not slating him. His heading technique was often poor though.

I like Crouch a lot. As others have said he comes across very down to earth and I find a bit of self deprivation very endearing.
