That January Transfer Window Fest Thread

For anyone with any interest in the German footy, there's been a shocker of a move. Monchengladbach's Marco Reus, who is the dog's bollocks, has signed for Borussia Dortmund for the start of the summer, ahead of Bayern Munich. Best of all, he's gone for just £14m. Absolute steal.

I'm glad Dortmund have got him over Bayern. Despite Dortmund's achievements last season Bayern are by far and away the biggest team in that league and it would be nice to see some sustained competition.

If there's one player your lot really want to be looking at, and I'd have Liverpool take a punt on him for the right money, it's Jordan Rhodes. He scored 5 tonight for Huddersfield to go to 25 goals in 22 league games.

Anyone here saggy grid talking about Ba before on SSN?

Seems intrested and its believed he has some sort of release clause in his contract

A few weird ones from tomorrows papers:

Tottenham are believed to be planning a move for defender James Collins, with Aston Villa ready to listen to offers in excess of £3m for the 28-year-old.

Neil Warnock left QPR after a bust up with owner Tony Fernandes over the signing of Blackburn striker Yakubu.

Why does every [Poor language removed] want Yakubu except us?!

One of my favourite players Fredy Guarin from Porto is about to move to my 2nd team Juventus for around £9m which is quite a good deal I think.

I've loved him ever since Championship Manager 03/04 when I signed him and he placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in goal of the year. What a hero.

He's got an absolute sledge hammer of a right foot and scored this goal last year which became FIFA goal of the 2010/2011 season I think.
