A brief description of what we are raising money for is basically because of the following and the fact are chairman has made more than £10 million of council money disappear.
Northampton Town Football Club are days away from a high court hearing which will see the club wound up unless a tax bill in excess of £166,000 is paid. Whilst the owner has seemingly washed his hands of the club, the players and staff continue to perform their jobs in a professional and admirable fashion.
The Northampton Town Supporters Trust have launched a fighting fund to raise £100,000 (https://crowdfunding.justgiving.com/ntfctrust). Funds raised will be used to deliver a healthier voice for supporters in any club going forwards. This may mean negotiating with a new owner, administrators or the establishment of a phoenix club. Help give a fighting chance to keep a 118 year old club going.
To raise money for the cause, we are auctioning a signed A4 photo of Leon Osman which was kindly donated by Everton FC.
