Everton chairman Bill Kenwright has heaped praise on manager David Moyes, thanking God for "one of the top five managers in the world"
Kenwright: "At the end of the day, all of this is down to one man who came to this Club seven years ago when it was sort of on its knees.
"We talked to each other in my living room for two hours from midnight until two in the morning and we came up with a plan. He's never veered from that plan and David Moyes is Everton Football Club. It's not Bill Kenwright, it's David Moyes. And I salute him.
"Four or five years ago I said he's going to be one of the greatest managers in the world. He is now one of the top five managers in the world. The commitment, the work, the concentration, the focus, the ability to delve into everything that is needed for his players to perform, is second to none. This is his day and I thank God for David Moyes."
"There are no words. I know we're doing this for TV and you want words from me but I just can't describe it,"
"I thought with about 10 mintutes to go about that wonderful moment when Rocky Balboa grabs hold of Apollo Creed and Apollo says, ‘You're not getting no rematch’ and Rocky says "I don't want one." I thought, can we go through all of this again? But you know what? Not only can we, we will and I'm confident we will beat Chelsea."
"I think the passion of the fans filtered down onto the players on the pitch in everyway. You couldn't not feel that passion, it was quite awesome. People say the FA Cup has diminished but it hasn't for Evertonians. This is the greatest Cup in the world.
"Can it be magnified for the final? Because this was sensational. Can it be better? No. But will we come back and do it again? Absolutely. Will we sing in the streets at the end? Absolutely. Will we cheer our team no matter what the result? Yes we absolutely will.
"I never wanted to leave. I wanted to stay with the fans and when they played the Z-cars theme four or five minutes after we knew we were at a Wembley final. My heart went.
"I think that is the thing I will remember most about Sunday afternoon - the Everton fans. I thought they outsang the Manchester United fans from an hour before kick off.
"Manchester United is one of the greatest Clubs in the world, if not the greatest. And, yes, they did play some reserves. But we came here with what everyone thought in November was a totally decimated squad and now we're in a Cup final, we're returning to Wembley.
"Thank you to every Evertonian who showed why they are so special.
"It was a Cup final here that started the turnaround in our fortunes and I really hope it happens again," he said. "I believe so too, but money plays such a big part in this world of football that I've just got to continue the search to get investment into the football club."
