They are really going for the glam aren't they! First spending shed-loads to get Beckham, now they are probably going to be paying Gullit a pretty penny for his 3-year contract.

The Galaxy are attempting to be the big market team of the MLS.

Unfortunately, they're sorely lacking when it comes to the on field product.

Becks is good but they really need to upgrade just about every position other than Donovan and Albright when he's healthy.

Both Gullit and Lalas have their work cut out for them. It'll be interesting to see Gullit in this role because unlike his previous coaching jobs, he just can't go out and buy a player to fill a need.

He's gonna have to play with what he's got and the few other players that they pick up this offseason. His true coaching abilities will be put to the test.

Good thing they gave him three years.

The Galaxy are a mess. Donovan blows. They need to replace him and use the exception on another decent Euro/South American. And even though I'm for leagalizing drugs, that doesn't mean I want a doped up Abel Xavier playing CB for my club.
