It is nice yes and though he's surely out of our price range, I'm sure he'd enjoy working with Moyes, and Moyes with him. He's the type of player who'd fit in with the work ethic perfectly and I could imagine him being like Cahill, and fall completely in love with the club.

Na not really, nice to see us mentioned as 'rivals' of the champions of England and Europe though. Another subtle sign that our profile is on the rise.

"Any club I join, whether it be Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool or Everton, will be a rival of Manchester United."

Hmm, are you a member of the OS forum? They always to silly things like that. We kind of deal in facts over here as much as we can. Misleading threads are about as welcome as rumours from the Daily Mail.

:lol::lol:

Was waiting for a thread of this type.

Agree, means he would consider a move to us. Shame we don't have any money, or do we?.....

Hes quoted facts, the words come from Tevez himself. So, erm, zip it.

No he hasn't. Tevez has not issued a come and get me plea to David Moyes.

I always thought GOT was more refined then the other forums, BK are going mad over this Tevez affair, it's pathetic.

Aye, was only meant to be a little light-hearted rather than misleading.

Signing Tevez would necessitate us completely overhauling our formation and style of play, but I reckon he's good enough to warrant it.

We couldn't afford him in a million years though, and even if we could we'd have to count on atleast a dozen or so Champions League teams not putting in a bid. I only considered this story discussion-worthy because of us being spoken of in implicitly lofty terms, which I think I made clear in the OP.

No worries, was funny and you raised a valid point, if world class players are mentioning us out of the blue of potential destinations then thats a clear signal of an improved profile.

Wasn't that long ago we was wondering if we could convince Earnshaw to come to us....

i hate this time of year where we will be linked with mouthino,love,fernandes,requelmie and now tevez when in reality we will probably end up with michael owen on loan for a season and yakubu's return being like a new signing :(

I wasnt having a go, I was just saying that it was unlike GOT usual postings. Just raising a point that misleading threads are more often found on other forums with less of a reputation.

Agree mate but to be fair, he has been a member fsince 2007 (y)

He does raise a good point though about our profile being on the rise.
