-and just when you thought the 'Kettle' thread couldn't be undermined.

I'm looking for a good 'family' tent for Mrs orchard, the Sapling (2years old), and myself, to replace our Expedition 3man'er (we need to as we've had loads of ripe cheese and dairy in there, to which Sapling's allergic) with roughly the following criteria:
1. Weight isn't an issue, as we'll need to be close to the car for Sapling, in case of an emergency.
2. 3 Season, or more, maybe expedition class
3. Fairly roomy to permit comfortable use for 1week or more

I started looking at a North Face:

Then a more spacious a Robens Cabin:

A Vaude (but unsure whether it's >1season):

Then started looking at good Lavvu's for their future versatility:

The expensive pro Tentipi:

and a few Helsport's:

Any one have any ideas that may help please (and otherwise like)?
Thanks :)

that north face on looks nice. (y)

Soz Bung's. No more than the Tentipi package (less stove for now) mate, which is around 2.4k, but preferably LESS.
Do you know much about non-w4nk tents then Bung's btw ?

Not a thing mate but I was going to see if I could offer assistance, I was expecting you to say a couple of hundred quid, for that budget surely you can get something amazing?
