It's been a good week and by all accounts it's not over the adding to the squad.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves though.

I feel a new era approaching but let's not get carried away. I worry some are expecting miracles, I think we are looking at 2/3 seasons for RMs plans to fall into place.

That's not to say we are going to drop down any places, on the contrary but you know how it is, tough to get any higher but we are making inroads I feel.

I'm totally relaxed and really looking forward to the season. Can a person not have a reasonable outlook on here. Some not all are getting over excited that's all.

We just have to be in amongst it until Christmas. Then see if Martinez can boost performance levels further.

I'm just excited at seeing some fabulous football this season from Everton. on that we are all certain we will see with this manager.

Who really isn't afraid of any team. Just like we as a club should be.

In truth, we're all thinking what you've written. At least, those of us with working minds are. It's just no fun to admit that!

It's nice to get carried away, though. I feel that way especially after the apprehension I had last season, not knowing how Roberto would fare.

You're absolutely right, there will be knee-jerkers going nuts if things don't start great. I just don't think they'll listen to reasonable counsel like you offer, though.

we took no time at all to adapt to new circumstances, new style, new mentality, our squad is almost totally different then 2 years ago. not sure it will take 2/3 years, think it's already started with the young spine already here. suppose it will be that time before we start totally reaping rewards.
