the 7ft argentinian lizard known to family and chums as "Senor Snappy" is currently rampaging around the idyllic welsh hamlet of swansea like some sort of latino godzilla with an attitude

tegu enjoying a chow mein or something

the giant south american reptile has a taste for human blood and can apparently smell fear and syphilis...

this is a tegu being handled by a professional

police officials have described the reptile as being "a bit puffy 'round the neck", probably just in case anyone has trouble identifying a 12ft black and white scaled lizard with huge claws and venomous fangs

...one can only imagine the carnage that this is going to cause...
