You're missing the point.

Sterilising people and locking kids up for life will not cure the actual problem.

Nothing will ever cure violence mate its a pipe dream, its sad but their will always be murder/rape/violence/massacre's they are as old as time began and it will never end aslong as we are biological beings. We can however limit the damage by making sure these people are locked away/unable to reproduce. Under the current system the lads will be out roaming the streets in less than 10 years and say you or your girlfriend are out on a night out minding your own business and these thugs bump into you on the way back, but bigger, stronger and uglier, or there offspring who will no doubt grow up with as little morals as their creature parents will teach them it needs to be contained.
