Technical assistance required

Help required from a computer geek. I'm trying to post what I'm sure will be the winning entry onto the recent 'whoppers in football' thread. My usual method of copy and paste works perfectly on a document on my computer but when I go to edit on the thread, the paste option is not highlighted. Any ideas?

Easy:

1 - Link me to the photo you want to post.

2 - Let me know the last three letters of your password and the first part of your postcode.

3 - Give me fifteen minutes.

Maybe when you click add image icon go with "from url" option, then untick "retrieve remote file...". You should be able to paste in the box at that point.

...or Chico's option is good too....
