GOT ONE OF THOSE SENSEO'S WHEN THEY 1ST CAME OUT (XMAS PRESSIE) SACKED IT COS U HAD TO USE 2 PODS FOR A FULL CUP AND IT WAS A BIT VENDING MACHINY. WAS IN HOME & BARGAIN TODAY AND THEY HAD THE DOUWE EGGERTS PODS FOR 75p, wasn't bad but still prefer filter.

I have a Senseo and it rocks. The quality of the coffee is superb. I don't care that a full 8oz cup takes two pods. The coffee is really good. Almost as good as a French Press. Filter coffee is not as good as the paper filters actually block a lot of the oils which prevent the finer flavours from being presented. If you insist on using drip coffee makers, invest in a metal mesh filter.

vim they are fantastic but listen to this for a combo....the cafe de wheels that i talked about in another thread does a hot dog de wheels it is........a large hot dog with chilli con carne on, mushy peas, fried onions and sauce is one of the best taste sensations ever.

The railway pub in town used to do the yorkshire puds filled with chilli, a good chilli at that, many a lunch time yum

TBH. I enjoy both. But drink far more tea, Milk an a tad of sugar.
