Hey blues , irish evertonian here, coming over for final home game v city, just wondering how hard it is to get taxi from goodison straight after the match, my flight home is at 9:40. We normally dont fly home until day after game, so we usually have a few drinks in pubs around ground after and don't have to worry about getting a cab straight away,
Just wondering would I be cutting it too fine or would a cab be easy enough to get to make flight home considering its a 5:30 kick off.... cheers in advance, COYB

I am in the same position for the United game (assuming it still gets played on the Sunday). The game starts at 4:10 so should finish at 6:00 which gives me 1 hour to get to the airport.

cheers lads, would love to see the lap of honour, but that would be pushing my luck,

would that be enough time to get taxi do u think ?

taxis are a rare commodity straight after a game, my advice would be to jump on a soccer bus into the city centre and get a cab from there

If you walk down to the Valley (near the 5 a side pitches - 5-10 mins in a straight line from the stadium towards the city), you can usually flag one down. There are so many people down there that they never normally make it any further.

If you leave at the whistle you should be fine

Don't think that would be an option , would be cutting it too fine, I'll just peg it at the final whistle, and hope I can get a cab within a half hour;)

Was gonna say the same

In heading the Man U and last flight home on the Sunday to Dublin is 9.40 if I'm not mistaken the game will be over by 6 surely loads of time to get to john Lennon ... If I'm not wrong there's only two flight on Easter Sunday afternoon/ evening that's the one at 16.00 and 21.40 but I stand to be corrected
