Good to see how much they rate our support...
1. What would be a good season for Brentford? Where will you finish in the league?
Ghost: To finish higher than we did last season (9th) so with the squad we have assembled I would be happy with a decent push for the P/O’s
Billy Hunt: A good season would be an improvement on last years’ 9th. We will just miss out on the play-offs – 7th.
Red_and_White: A good season would be an improvement on last season’s 9th place. We have started poorly but we have accrued some competent players for this level. One thing for certain is we will move up the table.
MetalBee: Getting into the play offs would be the most realistically promising aim. I fancy us to just sneak in, finishing 6th.
2. What do you think would be a good season for Everton? Where do you think we will finish in the league?
Chopper: For Everton you would have to say with there squad europa leauge I might be wrong but Champions League football looks a stretch to far. 6th/7th
MetalBee: You’ve become amongst the top 6 teams in the country so maintaining that would be decent. 6th.
Billy Hunt: 6th or 7th would be a good season. You will finish 6th or 7th.
Red_and_White: I get the impression speaking to Evertonians that winning one the cups would be the indicator of success this season regardless of league position. As for the league though, the key for a good finish would be in keeping the strikers injury free. I would predict 7th but 6th is attainable.
3. Who will be your player to watch on Tuesday?
beeidoublelbee: Weston will terrorise your right back – and simpson the other 3 at the back!
Red_and_White: Perhaps Miles Weston will pose Everton the greatest threat but the fans will play the biggest part. The place will be rocking.
ToBEE: Player to watch on Tuesday will be Toumani Diagouraga, Brentford’s very own Patrick Vieira.
Homerbees: Myles Weston, our left winger.
4. Which Everton player do you fear most?
Red_and_White: Magaye Gueye has good pace and a great left foot. He is likely to start against us and has a point to prove. Osman is more likely to start out of the big names and he will
be a huge threat too. I saw him play at Goodison a few years ago against portsmouth when I lived in Liverpool, and he was the best player on the pitch by far.
Ghost: Pretty much all of them if we get a strong XI – Cahill and Fellaini are major aerial threats but we have some big lads too. Arteta has to be worry too.
Guildford Bee: Cahill if he plays.
Homerbees: Mikel Arteta is one of my favourite players in the Premiership. Pienaar, Cahil, Feillani, Yakubu, Jack Rodwell (had he not got injured recently)
5. How do you rate David Moyes as a manager?
HomerBees: Very good manager, transformed you lot from relegation fodder into a team looking for European football.
ToBEE: Up until the United game on saturday, I had been very impressed, but to start a home game without a striker on the pitch is unbelievable, regardless of the opposition. Saha, Yakubu & Beckford on the bench with two thuggish midfield boys up front? Who are you, Blackburn?
beeidoublelbee: Top notch – but looks too much like Mo in the simpsons to be able to like
Red_and_White: Very Highly. He’s transformed the club. The fact quality players like Arteta have turned down offers to leave for bigger clubs in the past reflects what Moyes has done for Everton’s profile.
6. What do you think of Everton fans? How do you rate our support?
beeidoublelbee: Great support – come across em 3 times at Upton Park – had such a laff in The Queens amid alcohol and ‘continental’ cigarettes…..love a sing song and know their footy!
Homerbees: Real fans, passionate lot. That stand behind the goal where Arteta grabbed an equaliser versus United always looks impressive when Everton fans go mental over an important goal.
Red_and_White: I’ve been to Goodison a few times and the support of Everton is always vocal. I expect the same on Tuesday and the park will be a cauldron. I also expect them to be in the pubs from at least 3pm from my experience!
ToBEE: Everton fans are superb. Went as a guest of Liverpool Airport to Everton v Chelsea @ Goodison last season, and it was different class. Some of the best fans in the Premier League – and watching Chelsea beaten in the company of a Chelsea fan – Brilliant!
7. What will the score be?
Newbury Bee 09: Brentford 2-1 Everton
Hungerford Bee: Anything less than 0-3 would be good
beeidoublelbee: 0-3/1-4 – not expecting to get a result but will enjoy the night
Chopper: Head says 3-1 Everton, hearts say 2-1 Brentford but you will most likey win comfortably.
8. Who will win the carling cup?
Chopper: Cant look past Chelsea at the moment
Hungerford Bee: One of the big three
Shouldbee: Arsenal
Metalbee: Man City would have to be among the favourites.
